Susie Kieckhefer is a director and photographer whose work finds humanity in sport, adventure, and everyday life. Drawn to honest, emotionally grounded storytelling, she creates imagery that explores the connection between people, place and purpose. She believes the most compelling stories aren't defined by what people accomplish, but by what those pursuits reveal about who they are.

A lifelong skier, Susie was drawn west and spent nearly a decade immersed in mountain culture before settling on the west shore of Lake Tahoe with her husband and two sons. Living in the landscapes she documents gives her an authentic understanding of the people and communities at the heart of the outdoor world.
